Under the knife

No this is not a post about dissecting heresies and cutting out diseased theologies. I went under the knife on Wednesday and had functional endoscopic sinus surgery and a septoplasty. I'm now confined at home for two weeks so as to avoid infection.

Writing, reading, and thinking straight are not really working at the moment. I do however, have a box of Krispy Kreme donuts to hand and am assured that they contain remarkable healing powers.

Praying for your recovery. I might also add that Krispy Kremes are know to have human growth hormones in them, so just don't rub them on your stomach or thighs, They must be taken orally only.

My thought and prayers are with you. Having undergone ten sinus surgeries myself, I know these are no fun. You probably were progressively in so much pain that surgery was the only option. When I hear of someone else suffering from sinus problems, my heart goes out to that person. May you recover quickly and may the surgery do the trick in relieving your pain.
